This module unit is intended to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable him/her to apply the marketing communication skills to present and potential customers 

By the end of this module , the trainee should be able to: 

  1. appreciate the importance of communication concepts in marketing 
  2. understand marketing communication process 
  3. appreciate the tools of marketing communications 
  4. develop an appropriate advertising budget 

Course purpose:

This module unit is intended to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes that will enable him/her carry out marketing activities in an organization effectively.

Course objectives:

At the end of this module unit , the trainee should be able to:

a)       recognise the importance of marketing management in the achievement of organizational objectives

b)      apply principles of marketing in making marketing decisions

c)       formulate marketing strategies in making marketing decisions

apply marketing management in the context of both internal and external environment

This is basic course in marketing management . This course will help the trainees to appreciate the role played by marketing in organizations.
